Visas
If you are entering the country as an individual then ensure that all visa processes are clarified before you enter the country. Education
There is a vast expat population in Qatar and hence there are many schools that provide English education and are open to taking in new students. But be aware that schools need to apply to early so that children are not late for the academic year. Also check if you company includes a school allowance for your child’s education.
Cost of Living
As in any job everyone wants to save some money and still enjoy the sites and culture of the new country they are living in. Qatar is a good place to bring up your children and also soak in the culture of the Middle East. Entertainment is available in abundance but alcohol is strictly prohibited in Qatar and this should be taken into consideration while staying there as there are very strict rules.

These communities answer even the simple questions such as where to shop, which restaurant to visit, school systems, deals in the supermarkets and many more useful pieces of information that will make settling into a new community easier for everyone.
