1. GDP Contribution
The direct contribution of Travel & Tourism to GDP was USD73.7bn (2.7% of total GDP) in 2014, and is forecast to rise by 4.7% in 2015, and to rise by 4.6% pa, from 2015-2025, to USD121.0bn (3.1% of total GDP) in 2025
2. Employment
Travel & Tourism directly supported 2,255,000 jobs (3.2% of total employment). This is expected to rise by 3.1% pa to 3,202,000 jobs (3.4% of total employment) in 2025.
3. Vistor Exports
Visitor exports generated USD68.3bn (4.6% of total exports) in 2014. This is forecast to grow by 2.5% in 2015, and grow by 4.5% pa, from 2015-20
4. Investment
Travel & Tourism investment should rise by 4.9% pa over the next ten years to USD75.6bn in 2025 (7.0% of total).
